Hi, I'm Cathy. Not too long ago, I was living in Dubai at full speed, saying yes to everything and I was completely exhausted. I discovered soap making while researching and creating a community about slow living.

One morning I realized I couldn't remember what my soap smelled like because I'd been showering on autopilot with the same soap for years. It reminded me of how people wear the same perfume for years until they discover the joy of trying different fragrances and even layering them.

Why should soap be any different?

We can choose different soaps depending on our mood, the season, or the energy we need that day. Slow living isn't just about doing less. It's about being present with the scents that surround us, noticing how lavender calms us in the evening or how citrus awakens us in the morning. Each scent becomes a signal to pause and be intentional about the moment we're in.

La Boutique Beyond was born from the belief that slow living should be woven into your daily rituals through soaps that invite you to slow down and reconnect. Our soaps became the physical reminder of this philosophy. Each bar is made slowly, carefully, with intention.

I named it Beyond because I wanted to help people move beyond the constant rush, beyond the guilt of slowing down, beyond the idea that productivity is more valuable than peace.
